Milwaukee police arrested two individuals, including a teenager, in connection with an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred on Monday, December 11. At around 4:30 a.m., a 17-year-old and a 23-year-old man approached the victim’s vehicle near 27th and Center. Displaying a firearm, they forcibly stole money and keys from the victim before fleeing in the stolen vehicle.
Law enforcement successfully tracked the stolen vehicle to the vicinity near 14th and Meinecke, approximately a mile away from the initial incident. The police apprehended both suspects at this location, and a firearm was recovered during the arrest.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office will review the charges against the arrested individuals.
