The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to a house fire near 11th and Mineral on the south side of the city. Tragically, one person was rescued but died on the scene, and another individual was transported to the hospital.
The fire was brought under control by firefighters after approximately 45 minutes.
Twelve people have been displaced as a result of the incident, and the Red Cross is providing assistance to those affected.
