On Thursday, February 8, an 11-year-old child was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a stolen vehicle in Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Police Department reported that the incident took place before 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 37th and Orchard, where a driver lost control and collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle.

After the collision, both the driver and a passenger fled the scene on foot. Upon investigation, law enforcement determined that the vehicle involved had been recently reported stolen. Additionally, two other passengers, aged 16 and 14, sustained non-fatal injuries and were also transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

While the passengers were apprehended, the authorities are actively searching for the driver and an unknown passenger who fled the scene. Criminal charges stemming from the incident will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the forthcoming days.
